Another easy-as-pie recipe that you'll want to make for every gathering over and over again. With less than 5 ingredients, you can't go wrong! One thing I have learned from Puff Pastry is no matter how they look going in, they always look prettier coming out. It's the beauty of butter!
1 package pre-made frozen Puff Pastry, thawed
1 cup Nutella (chocolate hazelnut spread - mmmm good)
Cinnamon sugar (1/2 cup sugar + 1 tsp cinnamon)
Egg wash (1 egg whisked + 1 Tbs water)
• Preheat oven to 375ºF. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
• Roll out Puff Pastry to a 12" square on floured surface with floured rolling pin.
• Spread Nutella over entire surface, even out to the edges
• Start by rolling left side into the center, followed by right side, meeting in the middle.
• With a sharp knife start slicing 1/2" thick pieces and placing on parchment paper 2" apart from one another.
• Brush tops with egg wash and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden. Let cool on baking sheets.
